RE: Dealer 'Sorry for the Delay' Freebies....

So who is eligable for these freebies then?

Although i only got a firm build date today when i placed my deposit last june i was given a provisional date of 24th Jan 2011 by the dealer. Does this matter or is it only when a confirmed build goes back you get a freebie?

I was originally given an early January build which to date has slipped to early February. I asked for the freebies when the dealer informed me of this delay, which is around 4 weeks, the same as you. I would ask as many dealers would not offer - you have nothing to lose by asking. Good luck!

Prestige SD4 Auto, Ipanema/Ambience, Style 4 Wheels, Pan Roof, Privacy, Dimming Mirror, High Beam Assist, Surround Cameras, Spare Wheel, Mud Flaps.

I was only given a firm date yesterday, being told late December build for January delivery prior to that, so the same circumstances as you. I would give it a try or if you prefer, contact customer services and ask them. I spoke to my dealer directly, but you may be better off speaking to CS. Look forward to hearing how you get on!

I think it's an erratic machine that reproduces one line "dear John" style responses to selective questions.

I think it will be those that have been given a build date by the factory which has been subsequently delayed. The date given by the dealers when you place a deposit is at best a guestimate, so probably won't count - no harm in asking though!

2 working days after emailing Nick still no reply, not even an acknowledgement. Hardly great customer service is it?
