Coming to Scotland on holiday this year?

The Scottish Cartie Association (you may know them as Soap box carts or Bogies [NO, not THOSE bogies! Laughing])
are having their annual Cairngorn run with gravity powered bikes and bogies on the 13th a nd 14th July followed by a new event near Huntly in Aberdeenshire on the 15th. These are just like the bogies you may have made as a kid (well they are the 21st century version with fairings and streamline bodywork). It's a great day or weekend out for kids of all ages and way more exciting than anything Formula One can muster!

There are Cartie/ Gravity Powered Vehicle races all over the UK.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
