Climate Control

I just got a new evoque (pure premium) about a month ago. The Climate control is really warm, even if I set the temp to be around 65 deg F, has any one faced the same issue??

Climate Control

As long as you have A/C and Auto on it should work. If not perhaps you need to talk to your dealer

RE: Climate Control

Try checking if the Compressor is engaging, by pressing the A/C button on/off with the engine running (but parked) & watch the rev counter. When the compressor kicks in, the needle should drop (very slightly) showing the extra load on the engine. With the bonnet open, you will hear it engage.

If the compressor is running with a low target temperature set on the controller, with the air vents open/air being blown out it should be working.

If it's still blowing outside air temperature, there could be a leak on the refrigerant system. In this case I would leave the A/C turned off, as the the liquid acts as a lubricant on the bearings.

I don't see anything in the manual but in other makes I have owned the a/c does not engage if the outside air temp is 3 celcius or below.
