There are UK and European drivers who are the same - you should try driving in Sri Lanka or India if you really want some excitement - anything anywhere else in the world is very tame after driving there!

Last year I had a "brown trousers" moment when I came round a long sweeping bend on a motorway (autobahn/ interstate highway) to find a German registered Merc S Class reversing back down the carriageway at very high speed because he had missed his off ramp..................

Why is it that people think the Evoque is a big heavy car. It's about 1700kg and about the size of a ford focus
My brakes are fine but I do think the discs look a bit small compared to what I had on my Audi a5. Bigger car but similar weight.
It's a good idea to use your brakes heavily now and again as it removes any glazing that can occur from light use..obviously check what's behind you before doing this
It's also a good idea to do this so you get a feel of how the car behaves in such circumstances. My Evoque feels a lot different to my A5
