Back to the rattle.

My coupe has done this on a number of occasions but never when it's been below freezing or just over. First time it happened was after heavy rain and parked under a tree, a couple of times on the drive facing the garage door but I can't remember the weather conditions and a couple of times after I've washed it using the pressure washer. I now avoid pointing the pressure washer gun towards any of the grills.

It's definitely water getting where it shouldn't, quite possibly auxiliary belt and pulley system as suggested.

I only have this issue when I park it upside down...but worse than the rattling is getting it right-side up again Smile

Sorry, do hope you have it sorted out by now, nothing worse than issues with a nice ride!

So for the last two weeks I have been driving a loaner 15 with the Eco Start Stop feature and on my regular drive I am getting 7 miles to the gallon better then I get on my 13. Which is nice but still not the greatest as it is still only 25 miles to the gallon city.

and on a Side note; Hopefully I will be getting my Evoque back this week. According to the dealer the Cam Pulley came loose and is supposedly the noise. We shall see.

Don't forget that you have smaller gallons there in the USA than we have in the UK

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
