Stability control not available?

Started the car today and got the following warning "drive with care, stability control not available"

The steering felt odd, heavy in some parts and light in others. I drove it round the block and the steering seems better. However the fault still stands.

Have turned off/on etc, but no joy.

Any ideas before I have to go through the stress of trying to get it sorted?

RE: Stability control not available?

If it's not cleared after a reset, it may be a sensor failure, and probably best if you have warranty to get it to the dealer, if the error is constantly there it should at least be easy to show the dealer.

Check the DSC button hasn't been pushed in accidentally - it should reset when restarting as the default position is ON

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

No, Ive tried the DSC button, makes no difference!

Its odd, the steering feels assisted and then all of a sudden unassisted...then goes back to normal...

I had the same a couple of months ago several times, as I had LandRover assist out recently I mentioned it to him but the computer had no record of it.
