Fuel level indicator looks blurred?

Hello all,

Picked up the evoque a few weeks back and it still bothers me that the digital fuel level gauge looks really blurred?

Is it supposed to look like that?

Obviously it isn't supposed to be blurred - the question is "is this the same as all the rest?" - are you able to post pics so we can compare?

Hard to imagine how a display like that could look blurred, is it more blurred than the temp guage display as they should look similar, pics would help.

The supplying dealer hasn't left one of the clear sticky protective sheets stuck over it has he - like the ones you get on a new mobile phone screen?

Maybe it's not actually blurred, it's just that it's falling so quickly? (Probably an Si4).

I've tried to take a picture but the pictures are not high definition enough to show what I'm talking about.

You have definitely answered my question though, because the block of white which represents the amount of fuel is extremely blurred and compared to the temp gauge right next to it there is a marked difference.

I'll nip into the dealer tomorrow and get them to throw their eye over it.
