RE: 1st Remapped Evoque ever completed today :)

Agree with the above with regards warranty. I had a superchips remap a few years ago, and they had a policy which covered any damage potentially caused by the remap which the vehicle manufacturer wouldn't cover. Would be nice if Pete could arrange similar. I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for the peace of mind it gives.

On order: Dynamic SD4 Manual Coupe, Orkney Grey, Black Roof, Privacy Glass, Vortex Int, Ebony Headlining.

Delivery: Was 25/11/11, Currently 28/12/11..............

I'll look into warranty options for all when I get back but as said it may cost a oriole more on top of a remap cost.

I hope to "double" remap the 150. From 150 to 190 and then on again to the same level on a 190 remapped car Smile

Sounds good.

So if I get this done my SD4 would be about 220bmp & 0-60 at around 7 secs. What would happen when I take it into Land Rover to be serviced etc? Would they revert it back or would they just leave it as it is?

Regards
Andy

This may sound odd but your guess is as good as mine and if not better you know your dealers better than i do. if it were my dealer they would not flash it unless it was needed as part of a repair.

And even if they did for you me or who ever id just remap the update Smile

are there any mechanical differences between the TD4 and The SD4, if not that is a massive improvements to go from 150bhp to 220bhp (46%) most insurance companies have issues once you go past 30%.

No differences i can see in Microcat that i can see.

You would not have to have the "double" remap this is just an option im trying to offer for people if they wanted it.
