I have linked out the fibre optic units still no menu or sound like a hiss would be nice all fuses ok

Yesterday whilst viewing the Audio Settings screen, I noticed that a new 'Subwoofer Level' control appeared, and assumed that the PIVI update had done this.

Confusingly, I was led to believe that the subwoofer was only present with Meridian systems. However, playing with this control certainly changed the sound of the bass. Later the same day, the control has disappeared again, leaving me with just Bass and Treble again.

I'm very confused as to whether I have a Subwoofer or not, and whether a software glitch caused the menu option to appear and disappear again.

Any ideas?

With the lastest update to the system Apple Carplay is still unavailable, my dealer says it's because of the missing InControl Connect Pro option. Can anyone confirm that this might cause the issue?

Has anyone successfully activated Apple Carplay with a 10" InControl Touch Pro system without InControl Connect Pro? My car has no SIM card slot and HDMI input in the middle console. But two USB connections where I can connect my iPhone and at least listen to music from the phone.

The navigation system on the InControl Touch Pro is offline navigation, so I would like to use Apple or Google maps for navigation. Any idea how I can retrofit Apple Carplay to my Evoque?

Yesterday everything working fine all day, using my bluetooth phone fine.

I was showing my mate the handle touch locking and unlocking (I did however do this about 6 or 7 times in quick succession, not sure why)

When i got back in my bluetooth telephone, my satnav and my DAB radio was not working. All kept saying 'searching' or 'waiting to connect' or 'phone not connected'.

It didn't come back on despite several engine restarts.

I went home planning on looking at it today and I've just gone out and key fob wouldn't open the car. Tried the spare nothing. I then noticed the back red lights on. Thinking I had left them on I opened the car with the key, looked at the stalk and they were on AUTO. No lights on the front by the way.

I then checked my tracker (not LR, aftermarket) but one that reads and records the battery status and it shows a current value of just over 7v.

I ran a report and it showed that around the time I was *ucking around with my handles that the battery started dipping after the engine was turned off.

Waiting fora mate to come over and jump start me so I can get my multimeter on some fuses and see if I can find the problem but wondered if anyone has had any of these issues before.

I did do a quick search and found something about resetting the car (not sure what that means or entails) but thought I'd ask.

PS... MY13 Dynamic Lux... bought it 1 month ago, already been back to dealer three times (not LR but a prestige one (suppsodily)) to have problems fixed and now this.]]>

I have just bought a 2013 Baby RR dynamic SD4 and want to fit a tracker. I'm semi competent with electrics and wiring and used to install a lot of ice car entertainment when I was younger.

I have just bought the DB1-Lite tracker from Rewire (not a bad company, i have one of their battery mobile ones on my bike and works well)

I have also bought a relay to fit inline to the starter motor so that I can, should the need arise, cut power to the starter motor meaning that anyone trying to start the car again, can't.

Can anyone give me any advice as two where to fit this unit (I was thinking behind the dash) and also where I can locate a suitable positive wire that will cut out the starter motor for the example above? I know the fuse is under the bonnet but wondered if its all been done before and if people have found better was of doing things. Say for example chopping into the start button cables (four of them) meaning that they can't start the car that way.

1 - The Echo input fits neatly into one of the cup holders ( thinking of drilling small hole through to cubby/armrest console to feed power/audio

2 - Managed to get it working with audio cable via Aux but too much electrical interference (Ground loop) so i have ordered a ground loop isolator from Amazon - lets see if that works

3- Connected wifi via my iphone 7 Plus/hotspot - it wont let you configure wifi on the same phone as you use for hotspot - so i connected the unit in the house using wifi using my ipad and then directed alexa to log into wifi hotspot (iphone7 plus) Then plugged everything in in the car and after a few minutes had it working

4 - BLUETOOTH - THATS THE ISSUE - using the alexa app i can see the range rover bluetooth when i try to connect device to car but when i try to connect it asks me to choose a code and then instantly fails. Trying to connect car to device it doesnt recognise anything

so at the moment i am stuck with noisy audio via an analogue cable - lets see if the ground loop supressor helps]]>

Looking through the forum it seems as if there are only two Meridian possibilities 380w and 825w

Is the original advert a mis-print that should read 380w or were there some low power 80w systems fitted ?
