Hi All.

I collected by 2021 R-Dynamic SE D200 at the beginning of March. Absolutely delighted with it. I love the colour which is Lantau Bronze, and it has a two-tone interior which is very nice too.

Curiously (and you might suggest I discuss this somewhere else on here), when I went to Audio Settings yesterday a new slider for 'Subwoofer Level' was present, and upon adjusting it, the sound clearly changed. What's odd, is that I don't have the Meridan system, and so was led to believe that this is not a subwoofer present. And even more odd is that today, the Subwoofer Level control has disappeared again. Anyone have any information about whether my car actually has a Subwoofer, or why that control appeared and then disappeared again?

Thanks All

I collected my 2020 model Evoque D180 R-Dynamic SE just over a week ago. It’s @ 8 months old and was the Used car buyer managers car at the garage I got it.
It’s Firenze Red with a panoramic roof, contrast black roof, black pack, 20” split spoke gloss black wheels and a clear view mirror.
So far I’m very impressed, and this is the first LR I’ve had. I’m just trying to get to grips with all the technology as although my other car a Peugeot RCZ 200GT is very well equipped, it’s got nothing compared with this car.
Hi all

Just purchased a used 2017 Evoque from my local dealer two weeks ago. Very happy but one issue, it displays low battery please start engine on every trip. Seems a common issue when googled but wanted to know if there was a quick fix?

Thanks

2020 I custom ordered arrived about a week early. Unfortunately the pano roof was damaged by the transport company and I barely got the car the day before the original expected delivery date. Love the car but have noticed a couple issues, namely:

1. Power lift gate gestures don't function at all
2. Both paddle shifters are cracked at the seam
3. Minor paint imperfections in the door sill area
4. Delivered with 2 fairly deep scratches in the garnet dash pad (in front of the passenger seat)
5. The lane assist is quite aggressive in steering back into the lane and does not keep the vehicle centered
6. Refresh rate on the clear view mirror took some getting used to, at first every time I quickly glanced at it I went cross eyed
7. The chrome accents around the shifter and below the gauge cluster give some pretty bad reflection when they hit the sun - really wish there wasn't any chrome on the dash especially
8. The interior lights don't come on when the doors are opened at night, no matter the setting (per manual)
9. Every start cycle the "gap" for the adaptive cruise control gets reset back to the largest setting and does not retain my selected setting

I just got home from taking the vehicle to White Sands National Monument in New Mexico. She handled very well on the trip and did fantastic in the gypsum at the monument. If anyone has any specific questions about the 2nd gen car please let me know.
Long time contributor over on fullfatrr but recently jumped ship from my 4.2SC L322 to a little 2012 Evoque in Firenze Red.
I'm rather taken with it, in-fact I've just christened her with a solo 4111 mile road trip down to Gibraltar... and then back via the French Alps with a bit of exploring in-between.

Averaged 30MPG which I didn't think was great - but I had no one else in the car to nag me to slow down...

Hi so been around for a few weeks now and recently picked up our first ever Range Rover! all being it used (so it was in our budget lol) have to say were happy with it and would definitely buy from the brand again.
Being from central Scotland i have a lot of dealers near by infract Morrisons Land Rover is about a 5 min walk from me, however we went to a non LR dealer to get this car just the other side of Glasgow (cheaper through there ha)

we spent ages deciding on a colour and spec we wanted , there are so many options out there!! we opted for this 1 owner MY14 Dynamic in Santorini Black with Black pack , options that i know of (still learning whats standard and whats a option lol) Pano Roof / two tone red and black leather / heated seats / memory seats / Privacy Glass / 20" wheels / Illuminated sill plates.
maybe someone can confirm? what came as standard on dynamic?

few mods I'm thinking about so things to get to tidy it up a bit first though ,
anyways just back from a family break managed to get a few quick pics (excuse the dirty car British rainy seaside lol)

thanks G.

Hi so been around for a few weeks now and recently picked up our first ever Range Rover! all being it used (so it was in our budget lol) have to say were happy with it and would definitely buy from the brand again.
Being from central Scotland i have a lot of dealers near by infract Morrisons Land Rover is about a 5 min walk from me, however we went to a non LR dealer to get this car just the other side of Glasgow (cheaper through there ha)

we spent ages deciding on a colour and spec we wanted , there are so many options out there!! we opted for this 1 owner MY14 Dynamic in Santorini Black with Black pack , options that i know of (still learning whats standard and whats a option lol) Pano Roof / two tone red and black leather / heated seats / memory seats / Privacy Glass / 20" wheels / Illuminated sill plates.
maybe someone can confirm? what came as standard on dynamic?

few mods I'm thinking about so things to get to tidy it up a bit first though ,
anyways just back from a family break managed to get a few quick pics (excuse the dirty car British rainy seaside lol)

thanks G.
Christmas gift, a new Evoque 2.0 HSE Dynamic - so happy.
Went in to limp mode yesterday on m25 (and terrified me) and had to be recovered on low loader, 800 miles on clock.
Told needs new engine harness.
Very disappointed.
Is there a 30 day rejection period that I have read about on this forum?

Here is a build I was forced to abandon:Custom Prowler
Here is my old Daily Driver Build:Custom Insight
Here is my latest Daily Driver Build:Custom 335i

I'm here because I wanted a vehicle that is awd, 2-door, glass roof, heated and cooled seats, contains "drama features" such as side mirrors that fold out upon unlocking the car, interior lights that fade out like a movie theater upon starting, a steering wheel that retracts when exiting, and comes forward when starting the car, headlights that move up & down in attempts to find a center line upon starting the vehicle and adapt to turns in the road, along with 0-60 in under 4. The only vehicle that seems to match that criteria is the new 2016 Jaguar F-type. But it's far too expensive for my current budget. And it's too low to the ground... I require an AWD or 4WD vehicle.
So I started looking for other vehicles with glass roofs but with actual ground clearance. And that pointed me to the 2014+ Jeep SRT. Huge glass roof. Problem is they're all over the streets where I live. Everyone has one here in my state. Plus it's a 4-door and I find 2-doors much more tasteful. I was also pointed to a Jeep Wrangler with the custom glass JeeTop. But sadly, Jeep Wranglers are also a dime a dozen here in the states. And I prefer to stand out in the crowd on the road.

So here I am w/ a 2014 2-door Evoque Dynamic. I've finally found the car that fits my budget and has things on it I like. I admit I wanted to purchase the redesigned MY16+ dynamic but YET AGAIN here in the states we get neutered by an oversea car company. And we don't get the option of a Dynamic coupe hardtop here in the states. I also LOVE the sports seats that the UK dynamics had the option of getting. I think they're recaro's. Sadly we didn't get those seats here in the states either. So I was stuck with hunting for a 2012-2015. After searching for 4.5 months I found a 14 dynamic coupe with 20,021 miles on her and almost all the options I wanted. Problem was she was 758 miles north east of where I live. It turned out dynamic coupes are rare here in the states.
Sadly, despite this engine being a ford ecoboost motor and having a HUGE tuning scene here in the states... I have found NO ONE that will tune the engine on these evoque's.
Another thing I wished my evoque came with aside from the MY16 headlights, tail lights, massage seats, & 10.3" intouch headunit was the black pack & the adaptive cruise control. I also wish cooled seats was available on the dynamic but, sadly, that was only on the pure or tech trim. Which I find strange but we all know LR logic is strange. I digress.
As far as my Evoque. I was surprised by how firm the ride is. Admittedly, there is still an enchantment I have with this vehicle. The interior and exterior are stunning, bar none. The suspension is perhaps something I will address much later in the future. But by that point I will be holding my breath that LR NA brings 2017 dynamic coupes to our shorelines that are NOT convertibles. And if they do, I will sell my queen and move to a new one.

:Onwards to the actual build:

Hi all
Well I've had my evoque coupe dynamic for just over a month and am on the uk owners club too but am introducing myself on here

I bought a 2013 low mileage 30k in grey with lots of extras but I love the pan roof and the meridian speakers

My first mod was to change the lettering to black which I've done and next is the rear bumper and front bumper silver parts doing in gloss black;
Which will be happening very shortly

Hi - Sorry if I seem totally fed up but I have never bought a Landrover before and maybe I had the wrong expectations from the start.

We chose an Evoque HSE Dynamic as it looked stylish, had lots of features that we wanted. Having driven one and compared it to a Q5, Discovery Sport and an X3 we were sold on the Evoque. The ordering experience was very slick and we were well looked after but having parted with our money, things changed rapidly.

The car arrived damaged. The paintwork was damaged, it looks as if a transporter strap was to tight - you could still see yellow marks on the rear quarter panels and they had both been pushed upwards and the paint had flaked off. The car was dirty, the rear seats were watermarked and muddy and the inside of the engine compartment also very muddy. It had 8 miles on the clock. It went back to be valeted before we were presented with it again.

The salesman was apologetic and said he would send the car to the body shop to be fixed. They had the car for about a week and when it was returned the paintwork had been repaired. The repair was little short of awful- there was overspray all over the plastic wheel arch inserts on both sides, complete with the masking tape marks. Additionally the salesman said he was unable to find the rattle that we had complained about and said that the loose and squeaking packing material around the spare wheel was standard. He said that the overspray was 'just a cleaning product' but he was unable to wipe it off and the car had to go back to the paint shop to be 'cleaned up'

The sales manager was summoned who explained that he had not been able to source valeters or paint shop operatives of the quality that he would like!

We took the car away vowing never to return to that particular dealer. Shortly afterwards the boot lid started to jam and the rear camera realigned itself to give a great view of the bumper. The hinge grates in the trim recess and the plastic is wearing away on both. The roof bar insert is also wearing away.

We decided to try another dealer to see if they could do any better and they did a great job trying to cheer us up but we then find that the boot will require new hinges and will take a week to repair. The car also needs new underpanels which were loose, distorted and probably the source of the rattles.

We left the garage slightly more encouraged that the car would eventually be fixed but then the warning lights started up on the dashboard disabling the command shift for the gearbox and closing down all of the driver command options. None of the steering wheel functions seem to work any more.

The car has currently done 5.000 miles. I have always bought Toyota's in the past and in 250.000 mile of motoring have never had a breakdown. The cars are always delivered on time and clean and unbroken. Perhaps Landrover might learn a thing or two from a visit to a Toyota salesroom?

Any similar experiences or suggestions how I get out of this mess?
