if you have one of those diagnostic computers then the system has to be told to release the pads, this is what happens with the RR Sport so assume it must be the same.

Did you buy one yet? It depends on what you want to pay. Search on Land Rover Approved Used if you want piece of mind but you will pay slightly more.
