It seems to hvae sorted itself with my help. Applied the handbrake and pumped the pedal a few time. This, I believe has reset the adjustment of the calipers

My brake pedal travel seems excessive. I have checked the pads and they look fine. If I applyn the handbrake this does not take up the travel The pedal is better after one pump. Any thoughts?
