It does start ok, but the power steering doesn’t work, did you get that behaviour too? I’m not going to get it to a dealer before we go, so, sadly it’s going to have to wait now.

There are a few on ebay for £150 - but you'll need to buy a new slip-ring for the rear as the standard one doesn't carry the heater wires through it.

Thats very true I guess - I'm just amazed they wouldn't offset it against the cost of a new car either. I'll get on the phone over the next couple of days and speak to some other dealers further away.
