My broker told me I was unlikely to get insured from any of there company's with out one as my car cost over £30k. So got a tracker retrieve fitted with in a week of buying the car. Then got stung...

I don't bother to release mine some times as I know as soon as I start to lift the clutch it will auto release... But not in reverse tho.. Perhaps for safety reasons. Clever design if you ask me :)
