I've done exactly the same and it doesn't mark. I think the other half of the protector will come in useful with a bigger, front facing seat later on.

I think it looks great, I was never a fan of the old shape, this sits perfectly between the Evoque and FF for my taste, might seriously look at this in a couple of years when my lease renews.

The maps on my 13 plate car are at least 2 years out of date on a local major A road, so I wouldn't rush into an expensive upgrade - I have asked the deler to check my version as I'm rather disappoint...

11 miles including delivery to home, they brought it on a transporter. Good delivery service from Lancasters in Reading and my employers lease company once the car was finally ready and correct.

I've gone for the element interior but its a company lease car so I'm not too concerned about long term marks. Really looking forward to that interior, it's got a great contrast with the black leather...
