Post: RE: New Member - Just Purchased... now waiting!

Well after what seemed like forever, my beautiful Evoque has arrived! I was travelling for work when it docked so my dealer kindly sent me a pic to keep me company. I got back Sunday and picked it up ...

Okay, a few dates have now been provided. Car has a build data of 13 August and should dock in Australia 01 October. I presume it's another 2-3 weeks post this date until I'll receive it? So looking ...

Queevo - still don't have a confirmed delivery date, or even build date. I emailed the dealer on Saturday, but he says the status hasn't changed. I hope that's not a bad sign! Do you think I should h...

Wow - the RX450h compared to the Evoque? At least in the looks department, there is nothing to compare. The RX450h is one of the uglier 4WDs I've ever seen. It's so generic and boring. There's a telev...

I hadn't even considered buying a 4WD, so my alternates may seem quite odd! I was looking at the BMW Z4 and the Mercedes SLK200. I owned the previous generation SLK200 and loved it, so thought the new...

Updated my order with my final colour selection. Have gone with Orkney Grey with Black Contrast Pano Roof. Have also ordered the Style 6 20" wheels, but I will probably replace them with the gloss bla...

Okay so this is possibly a stupid question, but with the electric seats, does it include front/back movement? The website is unclear and I can't seem to find the answer. On the site, it says tilt, hei...

So final decision has been made: black it is! Now I just need to wait for the October delivery :| I'm sure that'll be a piece of cake... At least I can enjoy other people taking delivery via this sit...

Yeah, I've had black cars before, and each time I get rid of one I swear that's the last time! But then I'm sucked back in again :-)

Okay, so spent a good bit of Saturday morning at the dealer. Answered some questions, and asked some more! Decided to stick with the TD4, I really didn't notice any difference when driving the SD4. Al...

I think I might try the Si4 actually - I looked onlined at the website (thanks Neo) and it isn't all that much more than the SD4. I thought it was another $4k on top of it, but seems it's about &#...

Hmm I might price up a Dynamic and a Prestige with the dealer. I took a look online, and with the options I wanted, the Prestige ended up being about $10k extra. It's just a shame that many of the...

Yeah, I'm quite annoyed by the premium they are charging for keyless entry. Seems like such a silly thing to make people pay for. I can't see myself spending that sort money on it. The prestige is tem...

Thanks for the replies! I am a little worried that it would be too dark with the ebony headlining. I have very pale skin, so am unlikely to leave the blind open when there's some (any) sun around. Am ...
