Looks like this is related to the brakes sticking on, pulled into a lay-by today came to rest using the foot brake only, took my foot off the brake to let the car roll forward, after about 3-4 seconds...

Just returned from a round trip to Kent, done 738 miles which was mixed driving achieved 44.4 mpg, SD4 Manual,total mileage on Evoque 847miles, more than happy with that :D
