After almost 1 year I have sold my evoque . I really missed the space and comfort of the full size range rover and have just purchased a supercharged one and already I feel at home .ok it only does 16...

Now up to 39 mpg on long trips since it turned 4000 miles seems to improve after some heavy right foot driving! Must clear out the dpf in the exhaust (any excuse for a good drive!)

Evoque doesn't have a viscous it has a haldex unit in the rear diff to provide 4wd not enough time to explain how it works but in sure someone will provide the answer shortly

Just back from 250 mile round trip to Edinburgh and back with some running in between 420 miles to the tank and low fuel warning still not on 36.5mpg on display 3400 miles on the clock getting better ...

My sd4 goes as well as my tdv8 rangerover did and that was chipped, don't know about this one as it is still under warranty;)

Thought I might as well add to this thread as I was the one that started it, I'm now 6months into ownership,having only covered 3000 miles ,car has been in twice to dealer to look at fuel consumption ...

I got full tank of fuel ,follow up call 3 days later,cannot fault the sales dept at town and county in Aberdeen, Many thanks to George mackie have since purchased a disco 4 commercial for my business ...

I use tardis by autosmart then use autosmart wax on top again Where does all that tar come from ,it's not exactly hot enough to melt it here!

Took delivery 7th oct now up to 1900 miles ,I don't use it for commuting I have a defender and discovery for that!
