Im just trying to wok out if i prefer the 2013 rear lights i have or the new 2016.

I was thinking of upgrading but the more i look at them, i think i prefer the ones i already have.

Are the 2016 ones all led, inc indicator and rev lamp etc?

Older style look so much better In my opinion, and The fronts

Yea. Think I'm sold on keeping the originals. Just wish I had cornering lamps at the front. Wonder if they can be retro fitted and turned on with an iid tool.

For a car of this price, I expected cornering lights to be standard. My wife's 2006 Renault Clio has cornering lights and they a big difference. Also, I noticed that the xenons don't seem to a self alignment check when they first turn on? My previous old Mercedes and many cars I've seen always did the level check when turned on. Does the evoque not have this or is mine just broken???

Indicators and stop/tail lights are LED, haven't checked my reversing lights yet. Don't really want to put the car into reverse then get out and look!

My discovery 3 did the self check, but the Range Rover I had didn't. They stopped doing it later. Apparently. They still self level but don't do the calibration at the start.

I'm thinking if the wiring is there then afs lights could be fitted and turned on using auto logic or an iid tool.

Still, prob not worth the hassle. The missus would kill me if I start ripping it to bits already!

Has any one successfully fitted afs lights. Not too bothered about the afs working but miss the static bending lights.

Would I be not alone in saying I prefer the 2012 rears and front + fog lights over the newer facelift models? Especially the fogs. I much prefer the look more central than at the top of the faux vent.
