Asda tyres is run by one of my tyre suppliers,Bond International Tyres.I used to be on their fitting list but asked them to take me off as Asda want more out of the sale than I was making & they don't do anything & I have to fit, balance, new valve & my time for a couple of ££ a tyre.Plus you get customers not turning up for them fitting & I then have to send them back & have the hassle of getting credited. Also I'm sometimes cheaper than asda.

I have a Motorcycle shop and we refused offers to fit tyres for online suppliers as they wanted it done for peanuts. I wish others would do the same. We also find that in most cases our price is similar to buying online. I think you did the right thing deleting yourself from their list. Typical example of big business taking the pi$$ out of small business.

Question for you . Would you buy burgers in Tesco and ask McDonalds to cook them ?

Too right xz4,,if more tyre shops stop fitting them then they would close down,,I had a customer come in with 4 tyres he purchased off line & I charged him £18 per tyre for fitting & a week later he came back as one of the tyres was fault,,,,,sorry mate I did not supply the tyres so it's not my problem,,I then charged him another £10 to remove the tyre so he could send it back,,you should have seen the look on his face when I told him I could have sold him them for less & he would have had a guarantee with them.some folk never learn, they think the internet is always cheaper.

And then they got a coating off gtechniq c5 ahead of fitting tomorrow morning. Hopefully my tyres are in now! New pirellis all round.

What size bottle is the C5,,I have a 30ml bottle in the garage to do my 4 22" alloys.

30ml would do the whole car Gtechniq less is more.

That will do your 4no 22" easily.
I have just done 4no 20" with 15ml of C5 and had a small bit left over.
Admittedly I didn't do the inside section of the wheels which you could easily do as well with the larger bottle.

Yes, 15ml, and plenty left. I did use sparingly, but surprised how much left.

Im going to do inside as I think that's where you need it most as its awkward to clean the inside.

I did inside also, and still plenty left.
