Can someone tell me the procedure for removal and fitting of these vents.
Or a link if it's already on here .

Cheers,

Nick

I'm guessing the side vents are brute force with care but I don't understand why the bonnet vents have the sliding yellow lugs when you cannot get to them.

Thanks Dottyflo,

Anyone done the fitting of proper bonnet vents ?

It seems like the ones in might break as you lever away.

Hi Nick, I just took the vents off the bonnet I bought and a right pain. From the underside there is some bendy clips so they are simple, but you have 3 more yellow clips per vent with no access. In the end I levered the vent up and the little clips broke allowing the vent to come away. I now need to buy 6 little clips from LR to refit. The clips do have a square top and slide into a bracket on the bottom of the vent but I've no idea how you get them out without snapping them. Maybe that's why they break so easily as basically you don't have to !

Thanks Nick, It's sort of what I expected but I am still puzzled as to why they have made vents that are accessible from under the bonnet so complicated.
The black wheels are ready to go on and coated with techniq C5. I am hoping to fit them along with all the black pack bits next weekend. I will post some pics when done.

Cheers Nick

Sounds good. Looking forward to the pics. I've manged to get an excellent used spare tyre for that fifth wheel. Will post some pics up. If you reconsider having a spare will do you a good deal.
