seam on rear wheel panel - Fritzy - 06-02-2016 08:17am I noticed a "seam" on the rear wheel panels of my Evoque coupe. See attachments of pictures I found on the net Does somebody know if this is normal or what the purpose of it is ? Greetings, Fritzy. seam on rear wheel panel - Stadt Panzer - 06-02-2016 09:59am A join where the body panels meet? Totally normal on all Evoques. RE: seam on rear wheel panel - Fritzy - 06-02-2016 10:38am It looks like they used maskingtape to spray the paint. Why isn't that smooth ? And that for LandRover !? RE: seam on rear wheel panel - AndyFrance - 06-02-2016 10:45am I totally agree with you Fritzy. It looks like a leftover from the moulding process. This should be finished properly before painting. On mine, the line you're talking about shows through darker on one side, has less paint covering it. It's a myth that Jaguar Land Rover are a premium brand.......They're just a premium price! RE: seam on rear wheel panel - doug - 06-02-2016 10:37pm Have a read of this post a few years ago.
