Front parking sensors - mickeyf - 23-11-2015 06:36pm

Have just got a 2013 Evoque (coming from Series II; 110 and Discovery I !)
I have factory rear parking sensors fitted. Can I install front sensors and use the same display (i.e. with the screen graphics etc) ?

I guess I would need the sensor loom that runs behind the bumper and the sensors; but can I connect up to the current display?
Do I need other stuff or programming through OBD?

I'd prefer this, even though more expensive, than an aftermarket kit

You can buy a bumper wiring loom, but problem being that you would also need to change engine wiring loom as bumper loom plugs into this and there are an obscene amount of different engine looms depending on build spec. After this you need to update configuration file to activate sensors.
