Piggybox your ride..... - Daiichi - 11-09-2015 04:59am Hi there, I am just wondering if anyone here has actually fitted a piggybox your Evoque to increase its HP and torque? There's couple of brands out there like Race Chip which according to their webpage, fitting the Chip onto your Evoque could increase its torque value of 420Nm to 510Nm.!!!! RE: Piggybox your ride..... - LaserTam - 11-09-2015 05:28am Thought about it, but it would invalidate any warranty, so decided against it. Apologies to the OP for this hijack, but I'd be interested why you thought about it LaserTam. I have a MY16 on order with 380Nm torque, which is the same as your eD4. Do you feel it's underpowered pulling out of bends or going uphill? RE: Piggybox your ride..... - Koidream - 11-09-2015 06:02am Where drugs fool your body, so do chip tunings fool your engine and turbo. Both end up in an irreversible damage. I am pretty sure manufacturers get the best out of the engine to keep customers satisfied. Not so concerned now I suppose, but the Evoque will be up for sale soon anyway, Discovery 4 being picked up in a couple of weeks RE: Piggybox your ride..... - wheels - 11-09-2015 10:54am (11-09-2015 06:02am)Koidream Wrote: Where drugs fool your body, so do chip tunings fool your engine and turbo. All the chips that are sold increase the fuel pressure and some also increase the boost pressure, but not to an extent that you are endangering your engine. Not from a known manufacturer anyway. |
