22 inch rims and tire set up anyone - Boulderx - 09-07-2015 06:20am I'm thinking of putting 22 inch rims with 285/35/22 on my evoque. I would like a wider tire set up the the stock 245/45/20 set up. I'll prob order a rim with a 30 mm offset would like to widen the stance and fill out the wheel wells a bit. Not worried about off-roading that's what my f350 is for. Any one hav a similar set up on 22s RE: 22 inch rims and tire set up anyone - mstraka - 10-07-2015 01:32pm (09-07-2015 06:20am)Boulderx Wrote: I'm thinking of putting 22 inch rims with 285/35/22 on my evoque. Yes I've considered it. Thx. I've seen plenty of 22s on modified evoques. Considering the exhaust mod I plan on doing and the fact that this is my wife's car and she is small under 100 lbs and I'm not going for the fastest 0 to 60. I'd just like to see anyone else's set up. It's funny how uptight people are on the forums about aftermarket rims lol. To each their own. RE: 22 inch rims and tire set up anyone - PhilSkill - 16-07-2015 10:21am I had one park near to me the other day with 22's on, which I snapped, so will post up later. Frankly it's wasn't for me, I think the evoque needs some rubber showing to make it look in proportion, generally I think wheels have got too big already and am starting to prefer seeing more rubber these days rather than less, but each to their own, we need variety I wonder if F1 will ever take the plunge, been trialling 18's on and off, but still run 13's. RE: 22 inch rims and tire set up anyone - PhilSkill - 16-07-2015 09:16pm Here it is [attachment=4359] RE: 22 inch rims and tire set up anyone - Mark^^ - 17-07-2015 05:30am those big wheels on that very very black Evoque are still better than those orange one on the white car in the background RE: 22 inch rims and tire set up anyone - PhilSkill - 17-07-2015 09:51am Agreed Mark^^, I wondered if they'd get a comment! RE: 22 inch rims and tire set up anyone - airborne ranger - 21-07-2015 06:44pm I just put 22" wheels on my rig. I previously had 20" wheels on there and been oscillating back and forth on whether or not to put 22's on. well, I took the plunge and here she is: RE: 22 inch rims and tire set up anyone - Boulderx - 21-07-2015 06:57pm Very nice. Probably one of the nicest set ups I've seen so far in 22s What size rubber were you able to put on I'm thinking of 22s on 265/40/22. As long as it won't rub. RE: 22 inch rims and tire set up anyone - airborne ranger - 21-07-2015 08:39pm Thanks BoulderX. I have 255/35's on there. It's on air ride so I can adjust the height- no fear of rubbing. |
