Does anyone know if you can only have the rear camera on, when you select reverse or can you view it at anytime?
The one in our Golf only comes on one you engage reverse and then goes off as soon as you de-select reverse?

I think you will find it is the same unless you opt for the surround camera addition.

i reckon the rear camera is activated when in reverse gear.
i noticed that when i test drove the car last week.
