Evoque Technical - BBS SPY - 21-11-2010 05:16pm As this is a new site and a new model, and as we are a known leading edge entitity in the world of Land Rover model diagnostic equipment providers, i thought it might be interesting, and a help to get the site started for me to take a bit of time to detail our companies possible involvement and capability of future equipment in relation to the new Evoque and modification possibilities, that may affect potential buyers. After all out equipments capabilities have now allowed D3 owners to retro add expensive options far more cheaply, almost altering purchase choices to favour those model versions most able to be updated the most and this has almost certainly affected some peoples choice in buying a D4 and selecting model and options. While everyone else might see the Evoque as a brand new LR thing, Technologically wise, especially in respect of it's diagnostic functionality and capability, to us ,we understand it is little more than just another body shape and another name badge that re employs the very same Ford technology we got to grips with understanding fully when we introduced equimpent, with its renowed capability for the Disco 3 and advanced with the D4. Ford tend to pool and share their technology amongs all the brands and models they introduce, so regardless of if a new model is called the Ford Z-Max, Volvo XC100, Maxda 1000, or, Jaguar XG1000, Diagnostically, it is quite likely the Evoques technology is very likely going to be based totally on the same generic Ford technology as previous models. Being fully up to speed on this technology, I therefore imagine that having checked out our assumption is correct, it will take us no time at all to add the Evoque to our existing model coverage on both the FCR and MSV-2 and add CCF edit capabilities for it.
