Some chrome additions - Mark^^ - 08-06-2013 06:35am

I have been doing some small mods to my car by adding some chrome surrounds to bits that look like they should have been there in the first place

my car

I am really liking that cargo step cover. My car hasn't been delivered yet, but I am concerned about scrapes on this bit.

I got mine direct from suppliers in china via aliexpress.com
Along with stainless steel bits for the rear tread plates.
total cost including shipping to the UK was $80 US, so about £50.

Beautiful car, Mark! I really like the look of the bits on the dash and the tweeter covers and agree that it should have come from factory with similar to these. Personally I am not so keen on the seat control or rear vent surrounds as I think they look too 'aftermarket', but overall these make very smart additions and it's your car, so you have given it your own personal touch. Smile

I'm liking the rear tread plate bumper cover.

Any chance of a link to where you got it from?

this is the eBay add that I brought it from.

The seller is in China, but it came well packaged and in just over a week to Australia and my door step.

The other small bits of chrome surrounds came from the is ebay seller in Poland, again individually wrapped to protect scratching and well packaged and arrived in a week or so.
