Power supply for blackbox car camera - pugracer - 16-03-2013 05:43pm I'm trying to get a camera installed in the car. I need a power source that turns off when I turn off the car. Is there any suggestion where I can find such power source near the A pillars without taking any trimming off? The fuse box under the glove box? Thanks! RE: Power supply for blackbox car camera - mpenninc - 22-03-2013 06:09pm Did the same 1 week ago to connect the Power Magic Pro. You can connect all wires to the fuse box under the glove box. Use the fuse 66 (5A Diagnostics) for the Batt+ Use the fuse 63 (20A Accessories) for the Acc+ Use a bolt on top of existing fuse box locking bolt to connect the GND- Attention points: connect your wires to the lower pin of the fuse and my car is Belgian version, so your wiring may differ. RE: Power supply for blackbox car camera - pugracer - 26-03-2013 12:27pm Thank you so much! I'll give it a try! RE: Power supply for blackbox car camera - bing0r - 22-02-2014 11:34pm Did this work for you guys? When I connect to fuse 63 I get low voltage. Can't get more than 6v from fuse box. But at acc port get full 12v. Any pics from people who have successfully wired their dash cams would be appreciated.
