Anyone else have a splutter when switching off their engine? - WB - 05-03-2013 06:16pm

I've noticed on many occasions although I'm not sure if its every time that my Evoque seems to splutter and jerk forward when I press the stop button. Mine is an auto SD4 and this is happening with my foot on the brake.

It's an MY13 and has about 300 miles on the clock.

My first Evoque definitely didn't do it.

Anyone noticed anything similar?

Mine sometimes moves forward in park after the engine is switched off (and, hopefully, the parking brake is engaged) when I release the foot brake. Not very far, but it's quite disconcerting.

Yes that's similar to what mine does - I've tried it a couple of times today and it hasn't done it so will keep an eye on it.

Mine does that when I start the car...Iam starting to wonder if its because the batt is dying. Mon - Fri I do short 10 min drives to and from work and once every 2 weeks I do longer journeys of around 2 hours. After a long drive it certainly sounds a lot better when I drive the car the next day.
