How to convince my wife to buy Evoque? - donot521 - 24-02-2013 05:37pm

Hi Guys
I am a long term luker from Canada and I love how this forum has the most updated information about evoque.
Currently I am in the market for a small SUV; me and my wife both agreed on Evoque and was ready to order one until one day...one of my friend bought a 2013 Q5 3.0T; and she started to compare both cars.

Thanks to GOOGLE search engine...she has found many reasons not to buy Evoque and leaning toward to Q5 with new supercharge engine and start bashing how evoque is only for the good look but inside (ford engine) is ugly. Evoque will be a money pit after warranty is over and how unreliable is RR...etc and I have nothing to back evoque up except............GOOD and stylish look

one of my high school friend will start working as Land rover mechanic soon...therefore I think on the maintenance side I will be fine (hopefully) but please tell me how to convince my wife to get evoque since she wants to visit Audi dealer next week.........

On my 3rd landrover, had 2 freelanders one for 8 years, sorry to see them go. I intend to keep our Evoque as long as poss. No major issues and the Landrover dealers are excellent. Audi is just so boring, and you have to deal with the Audi arrogant dealerships?

Audi is boring indeed...i hate its interior
And now my wife just gave me an offer that she is willing to add s line package if we go with audi

I wouldn't be too convinced that Audi will save you a packet either.

Realability is sometimes a myth passed on from generation to generation (or more precisely neighbor to neighbor)....

On my third Land Rover in 6 years, never had a problem with the two before and after 6 months trouble free running in my Evoque looking at getting a new one at the 12 mth point. Love the car and I live in Audi land, lucky for me my wife doesn't like Audi.

Land Rover is with Jaguar (JLR) and the engine is a Peugeot/Ford Development.
