Went over to halewood today & got a good look at some pure td4 spec cars.

The td4 seems to have a different exhaust to the sd4 for some reason on some of the cars, but anyway

Here are some pics of the pure STD headlights with the single led

The lights looked quite nice

Also got a ride through the pontoon at Liverpool dock

u can't mention exhaust differences and then not post pictures !! (lol)

From what I could see on some td4 cars , the exhaust appeared to have an outward rolled tip rather than a chrome cover.

The exhaust also pointed downwards rather than straight out

( Some of the cars were lhd)

Why has that UK plate Pure got a white roof?

Could this now be an option?

Apparently that car above was a test mule

It is to be crushed next month

The interior was a pure grained leather with soft dash trim

After sitting in a prestige yesterday, the trim was a step down
However more durable for heavy usage

The pure feels more landrover like

Maybe they were also testing various exhaust tips etc. Haven't heard of any differences (except on the ed version)

The exhausts were on finished cars in the compound

Maybe the cars for foreign markets don't need a DPF fitted hence dont have the silly strict emmisions & tax laws like we do, the trim in the export cars is also different some cars have alcantara trim

Jonathan. When you say you went to Halewood, do you work for LR or a dealer or did you go as a member of the general public?
