Parking sensors - durham70 - 25-01-2013 12:06pm

Picked up my evoque today (td4 coupe dynamic)

So far all is great - except I wish I'd got parking sensors !! (Had them on my freelander td4 HSE)

Can they be added by the dealer or is it a factory only option ?

The button is there - just the beeps are missing !!!

Thanks
David

David
Hope you are enjoying the new delivery
I thought that rear sensors were standard
I picked up my TD4 coupe pure today also and they are on mine , I only have the tech pack option for the gadgets, and the price list i got when I ordered the car only has the front parking aid as an option.
I am sure the sales person showed me that you can turn off the beeping so it might only be that, can't remember what to do to turn beeping on/off-too excited to get onto the road.
Happy Driving

Is the light on on the button, unless you reverse they wont be active automatically just press the button, Also You can adjust the volume in settings, or by turning the volume knob when they should be beeping, Does the music dip volume when the P buton light is on also?

Thanks !

I'll have more of a play with it today - sounds like the volume might just be down / off (fingers crossed ....)

I think if you have the button, you have the sensors...??? In reverse, adjust the volume up (or down) to set the audio level of the audible beeping related to proximity...

Look for the sensors on the bumper ?

Don't forget that the default for front ones is off unless you either press the button or put the car in reverse
