Tears :( - ADZ - 11-01-2013 10:15am My poor baby was rear-ended on Wednesday after the brakes of a BMW failed I've been without my Evoque for almost 2 days now and don't know when I'll see him again. Welcome to my pity party. RE: Tears :( - alibeau - 11-01-2013 10:27am Oh deary me, you have my sympathies Ali. RE: Tears :( - ADZ - 11-01-2013 10:30am Thanks Ali RE: Tears :( - doug - 11-01-2013 10:31am Sorry to hear your bad news, I hope you are OK. What speed did the BMW hit you at? The pictures show the towing eye hasn't been bent, which is a good sign that the chassis is untouched. Let's hope you only need a rear bumper, tailgate & the rear wings repaired. RE: Tears :( - ADZ - 11-01-2013 10:35am My kids and I are good thanks. I was doing about 40 km/h and the BMW a bit faster than me I imagine. She rear-ended another car before mine which spun off the road. The occupants were injured and needed an ambulance Kudos to the Evoque for keeping us safe I suppose. I do so hope you're right with your assessment. The Landy people have indicated that the parts are available in SA so I shouldn't have to wait too long, insurance company dependent. ARGGGHHHHH!!!! RE: Tears :( - WB - 11-01-2013 10:42am sorry to hear that and glad you're ok! Hope your insurance sort it out quickly RE: Tears :( - ADZ - 11-01-2013 10:45am Thanks WB! Resorting to taxis and public transport is quite a bit of a let-down compared to being cosseted by my Evoque. Tears :( - QUEEVO - 11-01-2013 10:49am Bugger mate...!
