Just got a call, they have discovered a problem with the battery voltage, and the BCM (again... FFS).
So are going to keep it in overnight.

In the meanwhile I'm in a 2013 freelander, which is... Erm... OK Very Happy

Oops, my alarm just went off; no lights, just the sound. Checked the service menu and it said no alarm Question

RE: Alarm behaviour - RacingSnake - 08-02-2013 12:53pm

They have now replaced the body control module, and are now 'leaving it', all locked up and will test the battery voltage after lunch.... quite how much discharge they're expecting to see after about 3 hours I don't know! lol

RE: Alarm behaviour - RacingSnake - 08-02-2013 06:28pm

Ok, car now back with me.
It wasnt the BCM, but the BMS! Lol the Battery Monitoring system module...

So we shall see. It was happening maybe a couple of times a week, so watch this space Smile

Yes, 9am this morning, well about 9.05
ran out to check it (in my PJ's Laughing ) but it switched off before I got there.
Reason was "Panic Button" again. Sad
