Service required! - broady43 - 15-12-2012 09:26pm My car has only done 6500 miles "service required" is shown when turning ignition on.Does the car maybe need an oil change? i thought first service is 16000 miles or 1 year. RE: Service required! - doug - 15-12-2012 09:58pm Your service shouldn't be due until March, so it most be your driving ![]() I take it that you haven't driven the 6500miles off road! I would ring your dealer, the sensors shouldn't have picked up a service needed after such low mileage & age. This is down to when your car was PDI'd which was obviously 1 year ago. Your car wont need servicing untill 16K or 1 year. So its something you will have to live with untill its serviced. Happened to mine. If you hav it reset it will come on the same time next year , unless you bang the miles on it. RE: Service required! - DustinDep - 07-02-2013 04:45pm This is how you reset it RE: Service required! - Deeside - 25-06-2013 08:40pm Hi DustinDep I followed your video, and unfortunately this does not appear to work on Right Hand Drive UK cars. I see from your video that you appear to have one more item on the service menu at the bottom, than we do in the UK, marked "HBA sensitivity." We don't have this on the service menu. I have tried a few times followig you video and still the "service required" message comes up. Many thanks anyway, ![]() Deeside |
