Still hoping for the Execuhitch/ Hidden Hitch to become available for the Evoque in the US. The website currently says it's available, but last I contacted them, they were making some changes and suspended production.

I emailed them yesterday to see what the current status is.

Got this email back from Steve at Invisihitch / Execuhitch. Looks like we're SOL for a hidden tow bat here in the US, god knows why these things are so rare!

I apologize it is still listed on our website but we have discontinued the
Land Rover Evoque.

Please keep us in mind on future vehicles.

Thanks for the update. I had not heard back from them yet. Too bad they aren't producing the hitch for the Evoque.

There is a guy on evoqueforums.net who had his Curt hitch modified. Looks MUCH better. I've PM'd him to see where he got his work done since he's somewhat close to me. In a nutshell, he had a muffler shop move and reweld his receiver up higher on the hitch. Had to cut more of the rear valance but I'm ok with that since it's an easy piece to replace should I ever have the need.

Here is a pic:

Hi all, I think the execuhitch may now be available in the US. Not wanting to be the first I went with the modified Curt as DVFlyer references in the prior picture.

This is on MY16 Dynamic. Curt piece was cut and rewelded to not include the vertical extension that lowers it. This places it right in line with the exhausts as seen previously. I had the factory wiring harness bolted to the lowest part of the fascia too. Doesn't seem too bad in my opinion. Once you get over the cutting wheel sounds/emotions for the fascia you say, "eh, why not?!". It's functional.

I have already been out towing and the car did great at highway speeds. I'm very pleased.

Having trouble loading the picture. I'll try again in a few hours.

For some reason I'm still having difficulties with uploading. Here's a link to the pic:

Thanks for the update CB. Really like the modified look over the standard look. I may look into the execuhitch again, but would want it installed by someone who's familiar with them. Hopefully the company contacts the LR dealer network.

Helping CB out with the image link....

I haven't received my '12 Evoque Coupe yet, but it doesn't have the tow package, and I need one. I do not look forward to installing one. Watched a video on installation earlier today and it looks like a pain in the butt. The professionals make it look so easy, but I'm not easily fooled Tongue Out

It is easy. Just take your time. Having acces to a lift makes things easier as well. Electric is plug and play

Thanks. I was looking at these pics, and this seems like an amazing option for hitches, being invisible and all, but I'm not sure I'm confident it would provide the max towing load/capacity...
