Has anyone had any issues while driving around 50 mph in fourth. Seem to get juddering from engine. Mechanic thinks its software related SD4 manual. This was apparent in the first week of owning vehicle.

Anyone else had this issue?

Hi, its not something ive noticed on mine, tend to use the high gears a lot too and have never had any judder well unless the revs are too low e.g, 1000rpm, What speed and revs does it happen at, are you accelerating or braking at the time?

Interesting to hear that I also have a SD4 Manual and in first few weeks I also thought I was experiencing a similar judder I was a bit confused as it felt like I was driving on a uneven road surface just something I could not put my finger on but will give it another try as you got me thinking now.

It's a bit like the car is "missing". It's getting picked up on Monday for repair.

Yup also experienced it - suspect its an engine management s/w issue

Did you get yours repaired?

Interesting thread... I've often noticed a 'miss' when coming off the accelerator - not aware of the revs, or what circumstances.
I have, every single time dismissed this as a bump in the road, but it really didn't feel like a bump in the road.

It doesn't happen all of the time (far from it), but is noticable when it happens, and it's usually only a single miss, and then it's fine.

I'm an SD4 Auto btw.

Well the car seems fine now. They uploaded software.
