Software updates? - ED209 - 17-08-2012 11:26am

Is there anyway to find out what software updates are available for the evoque?

In particular is there one to sort out the dim witted slow touch screen?

I contacted my service desk after a similar post re fuel ECU update.

I was told there weren't any up to now!!

I had my car serviced two weeks ago and requested to speak to the master tech at guy salmon Coventry, (first time meet and very professional outfit ( the request was to check my Bluetooth screech, very occasional and also the occasional bang of the brakes that comes with slow speed manoeuvres, again reported, he checked every thing over and no faults could be replicated.

My car has been plugged in twice in two visits and so far the master tech told me he had not come across any updates so far for Evoque, he looked puzzled when I said I was surprised, he explained that as a matter of process any cars that arrive for service go onto the system and check for updates.

I was hoping to see something new, but then again car has been fine, now done nearly 18000 miles.

Just done a run down to Cornwall, full to the gunnels and roofbox and achieved 35 mpg overall.

Sorry not sure as my car is leased, be aware though that it will only be an oil and filter change and a tap with a hammer!
