NEW COLOURS FOR EVOQUE - Robbo - 25-07-2011 05:30pm

I have just been on the LR website and there are new colours showing on the configurator.

Barolo black and Havana. And on the website you can't tell any meaningful difference between them (or the other blacks).

My guess is Havana is a very dark brown.

If you can't see it, that's due to a poor monitor rather than the LR website.
I'm working on a calibrated screen and I can clearly see the eggplant hue in Barolo and differences in "deepness" for Havana and Sumatra. Havana seems warmer (indeed, maybe some added brown), Sumatra seems cooler / more grey.

On my MacBook Pro Havana looks to be blue/black, If this is true I have a problem trying to change my order. Does anyone have any experience of Havana in the metal.

Havana also looks blue/black on my MacBook Pro......

Would love to see a photo of this colour

The small sample of Havana looks blueish / cooler but when you select it, the car looks warmer and deeper black than Sumatra.

Those colours are in the Evoque brochure and you probably can get some clues to the colours from their names.

Havana is probably a very dark brown (Havana cigar perhaps?)

Barolo is an Italian red wine. So that's why the Barolo black has that dark burgundy colour visible in certain lights.

With all these different blacks, are we shure that Henry Ford hasn't taken over the company?
