Scratches to bumper - Daigriff - 24-07-2012 11:42pm Have got some small scratches on my bumper. Can these be fixed with a specific product or will I need to get a specialist in? They are only Slight scratches, not deep, on the plastic, but are annoying me and I want to get them fixed. Any thoughts? Thanks DG RE: Scratches to bumper - WB - 25-07-2012 12:31am any pics? RE: Scratches to bumper - ED209 - 28-07-2012 11:27pm mer scratch remover works a treat, as long as you cannot feel the scratches when you rub your nail across it. RE: Scratches to bumper - Daigriff - 29-07-2012 11:40pm Thanks Ed I'll get some. Was going to post some pics when back from hols. I was assuming that as its a prestige the bumpers aren't painted so you were talking about a scratch in the bare plastic. If that is the case then a trim restorer like Gtechniq C4 will cover light marks but if they're deep then you'll probably need a repair. RE: Scratches to bumper - Daigriff - 30-07-2012 09:28am You are correct WB not painted. They are not deep scratches but quite long. Will get it sorted hopefully when I'm back. RE: Scratches to bumper - mark_n - 02-08-2012 05:57am The bumpers on a Prestige are not painted? Gosh... Edit - just to clarify, by bumpers, do you mean the whole front of the car or the U-shaped "bull bars"?
