I've notice since I bought the car that there is a dronning/vibration noise from the drivetrain when your coasting around 40MPH with the automatic tranny. Lately, I've notice when braking, there is a kickback (sometimes pretty hard downshift) when the tranny is downshifting to 1st gear around 25 MPH.
My dealer also noticed both and they advised the dronning/vibration is due to the torque converter locking up. The service manager even drove it home and notice both scenerios. I did the ECU software update (letter from LR USA) and also reset the ECU (pulled neg from battery) but both problems are still there. My dealer did fill out a form to notify LR UK about my problems.
Just curious has anyone else notice these problems on the automatic tranny? TIA.
