RE: order early June, to be delivered Oct 20 - smayo - 14-07-2012 10:19am Do you have a build date yet? I believe the MY13's start being built in September onwards. I believe the MY13's start being built in September onwards. No build date info from the dealer. it only says "your car is due to arrive 10/26/12. The date may vary ... early/late ..." I have written to inquire which model year I am getting, and make clear I would even wait/delay to get the 2013 model. But, the dealer has remained silent for a few days. no good. RE: order early June, to be delivered Oct 20 - stephenc - 15-07-2012 02:28pm In the UK - Ordered mine 25/6/12 and I've been given December 21st as an estimated delivery date. I guess that's safely MY13 then?! I guess that's safely MY13 then?! Sounds a safe bet to me. I think delivery is estimated about 3 weeks after build (but tends to come down to about 10days), so yours would likely be built around the end of November. A good Xmas present for you! RE: order early June, to be delivered Oct 20 - Tulabb - 16-07-2012 10:25pm Iam planning on ordering this weekend and I was told last weekend it would be feb/mar 2013....really that long for delivery in uk. Did any in the uk mange to get any form of discount or freebie thrown in their sale? I was with a newbie last weekend and he was a rubbish salesman....I knew more than him about the car from my research!! RE: order early June, to be delivered Oct 20 - Evo-king - 17-07-2012 09:33pm There are many members on here who know more than LR salesmen. If you take your time to read the many threads and posts on here you will see that currently the Evoque is so much in demand that dealers have little need to offer new purchase inducements. Apart from an LRE voucher, mudflaps and full tank a fuel if your lucky, not all together I hasten to add. Good luck with your order. RE: order early June, to be delivered Oct 20 - stephenc - 17-07-2012 09:35pm Thanks, looking forward to Christmas! Not expecting anything much from MY13, just perhaps that they fix a few small things like the slow initiation of the reversing camera. Tulane - that is possible, I was told that depending on the model ordered I should expect a 6 to 8 month wait, so 5 months seemed a win to me! I bought via a leasing company, but I did check with a local dealer and there were certainly no deals on offer there. in fact they had a couple of ex demo vehicles that they were selling at a £2k to £3k premium on list price! Confirmed with the dealer I am getting a MY13. |
