Anyone been able to get a discount on a second Evoque order? - WB - 12-07-2012 09:12am

I'm about to put down a deposit on another Evoque and in the vein of information being power I'd like to know if anyone has had success getting a discount on a second order?

Doubt you'd get anything off yet WB. You should however be able to get a few freebies I'd have thought.

What spec are you ordering?

Haven't decided spec yet but probably another Pure unless there is a dynamic interior I like in the new MY2013 spec. Although come to think of it I don't want AD!!

I did ok on the freebies on the first car so am expecting that but thats still only a few hundred quid so less than 0.5% discount...

I've also been given a laughable 84% trade in valuation so it looks like I'll be selling privately.

Why change and take the hit?

Because the hit in year 1 is going to be very very small if i sell privately. If i keep it another year the hit will be far greater....

Crazy hey. I've been on at my original supplying dealer quite literally for months to get me a slot, take a deposit and get me a trade in value on my car. You'd think they'd be biting my hand off but all they tell me is they're sorry they're really busy because of all the Evoque orders!!!?!!

I'm thinking I should just use an out of London dealer... but I'm going to give LPR a shot first.

84 % laughable? not really you will have lost less than the 20% vat you paid on the car.
