Been searching and searching for a residual price on the Evoque for a lease and couldn't find one, but just came across this dealer listing. Based on their numbers of an MSRP of $45,745 and a residual of $26,989.55 on a 39 month lease, that would be a 59% residual.
Does anyone know if this is accurate? If so, it's great news because the residual rate reported back in November 2011 was only 51% so it has experienced a huge jump and is now on-par with the residual of cars like the BMW 3 series.
Anyone know what the money factor currently is? I see it was .00161 for a 36 month lease and .00171 for a 42 month least at the start of the year.
Trying to figure out a lease payment and so far sounds like a safe bet to calculate a 39 month lease using a 59% residual and .00171 money factor?

Just talked to two dealerships today. One said the residual is 45% for 39 months and the other said it's 44% for 39 months. And then 47% for a 36 month lease. This is a terrible residual, at least in my opinion, and would add $200/month to the monthly!! How could it have gone from 51% back in November and substantially dropped since then despite the car becoming much more in depend since then? Seems like 51% to 59% is more in accordance with the demand and lack of supply of the car.
I guess the bigger question is why is that New Jersey dealership I provided a screenshot of showing a 59% residual! I suppose I should call them tomorrow to verify and if they confirm 59%, I'll take that back to the other dealers who told me 45 and 44% today and ask what's up.
Also, FYI:
I was given the following money factors for June 2012...
.00126 for a 36 month lease
.00132 for a 39 month lease

Residuals in the UK will be strong for a good 1-2 years IMHO.
There still aren't that many about, waiting lists don't seem to be shortening and loads that are made seem to go abroad.
May even look to change mine in 12 months which will be after 18 months of ownership and it will only have 12000 on the clock. Will expect a good price. I always sell privately.
Where discounts off the new price are available USA Australia for example residuals will be proportionately lower... Basic supply and demand.

Yeah, there's plenty of them in stock over here in the USA. I saw one dealer had over 40 Evoque's in their inventory... just a single dealership with over 40 of them on the lot.
