As for the cable: it doesn't come with the car but you can use the charger cable that came with your iPhone. RE: Stream or connected ? - mzn50 - 03-07-2012 12:26pm Merci Kimvi.. Mais pas sur je te suis..? Can you have the BT streaming and also have it plugged in with a typical white apple cable ? So just to confirm 1. Audio can pass via BT or USB 2. BT and charging can happen at same time Thanks ! Stream or connected ? - Kimv - 03-07-2012 01:35pm (03-07-2012 12:26pm)mzn50 Wrote: Merci Kimvi.. Mais pas sur je te suis..? 1. Yes audio can be streamed via BT or USB 2. Yes you can stream audio via BT while at the same time have the iPhone plugged in and charging with the standard white cable that came with your iPhone. There are actually 2 USB ports. 1 is labeled "USB", the other is labeled "iPod". I suspect the "USB" one is for charging and the "iPod" one is for playing music and charging via the cable. But about this I'm not sure. I have mine streaming over BT while charging via the "USB" labeled port. RE: Stream or connected ? - mzn50 - 03-07-2012 01:44pm Parfait et merci... I haven't tried streaming anything else. But considering that apparently some stream Tomtom audio instructions from their phone I'm tempted to say that streaming Internet radio should be possible as well. RE: Stream or connected ? - NightFox - 03-07-2012 06:12pm Not even got my Evoque yet, but to the best of my understanding in general terms with iPods the following rates the different type of connections in terms of quality: 1 (Best): Connection to dedicated iPod USB connector 2: Connection to generic USB connector 3: Airplay streaming 4: Bluetooth streaming That said, with engine and road noise thrown into the equation I'm not sure you'd notice too much difference between any of them.
