Evoques seem to be quite plentiful in this part of the UK now, but yesterday, driving through the Stroud Valley saw a Dynamic Mauritius Coupe on cherished plate, I have to say it looked good.

Nice choice whoever you are.

OK, there's 3 of you on here with Mauritius Blue avatars, which all look different colours! Whose would you say looks the most accurate?

Straydox, yours looks a similar colour to the electric blue that's popular on Minis, Peet's looks quite a lot paler, reminds me of an MG Montego I used to have (no offence meant!) and J3NED yours looks more like a metallic blue Ford currently do that I've seen on a few Fiestas.

The colour seems to change according to how bright the sun is - on a dull grey day it is a dark pastel blue shade all the way through to an iridescent electric blue in bright sunshine. I have owned a lot of blue cars over the years but never one that changed colour so much...

My images were taken with an Olympus Xz1 compact digital camera and it produces true to life colours and contrast, no tinkering required.

I agree that the colour changes depending on the weather, I took the picture on a wet day and I feel it is fairly accurate of the colour at this time. I also feel that the black trim on the Dynamic also makes the blue appear a different shade. It's a really difficult call as I am yet to see the car on a really sunny day!! In fact we may be about to get flooded!! Think I may move her to higher ground!! Shocked

The pic was taken with a Panasonic Lumix tz10 on auto setting

OK, thanks. So basically 1 or 2 days of the year my Evoque will look like Straydox's picture, the rest of the time it'll look like J3NED's Wink
