Well I never would have believed it but we've gone into labour!!
The build week has finally arrived and my baby will soon be opening it's headlights for the very first time.
Excited........ Oh yes

Just had a phone call from my dealer and my baby has emerged out into the world and is now on its way to the port.

Got the VIN so time to start the paperwork.

Can you advise the time from build to when it is shipped to the port? Thanks

In labour!! - Stadt Panzer - 14-06-2012 02:16pm

Neo,
Car was built Mon/Tue on its way to the port Wed. They don't keep on to the cars, they roll out the production line onto the transporter.

Wow that's a fast turn around, didn't expect it to be built in 2-3 days.

In labour!! - Stadt Panzer - 14-06-2012 04:58pm

I read someplace that it takes 39 hours from start to finish.

RE: In labour!! - Neo - 14-06-2012 10:33pm

Its actually 29hours but you need to take into account time for the car to be placed on the sidelines for example for the paint to dry, etc. But congrats if you will be getting the car soon!
