Cez's new Black 20" wheels - Evoque U - 04-05-2012 03:07pm

Hey all,

We have just purchased some new aftermarket Black 20" wheels for our Evoque. We were looking at 22" but didn't want to compromise on the ride quality, very happy with the results and the way she drives now. No road noise and smooth as silk over lumps and bumps.

Undecided whether to paint the disc brakes black or leave silver to match the trim.

Enjoy the pics

I personally think the evoque does not have large enough brake discs to carry off wheels with such open spokes. Whilst wheels like that might look good on a sports car with huge discs and calipers i dont think they do on the evoque.

Paint the calipers not the discs - paint might last longer! If you do I agree with the above in that you probably don't want to draw attention to them (being proportionally so small) so go a nice subtle black or dark grey perhaps to match say the grille. Nice crackle effect perhaps...?!

Wheels look good. May I ask how much?

Sorry I meant the calipers, damn mental blank.Banging HeadBanging Head

I'm thinking subtle black, the calipers are a little small so the more subtle the better.

They cost $3000AUS, paid a little more for better quality tyres.
