What are the largest tires I can fit on the 20" x 8" stock rims without suspension modifications. I believe 245/40 R20 are standard. I would like a larger footprint, without suspension modifications, if possible. Will I also need to buy wider rims?

Larger footprint = better traction, particularly in the sandy deserts and on the beaches of southern California.
